Filosalvilo Posted August 25, 2015 Hello friends. I´m new here and I want to introduce my two cactus. They were rooted on March and after a growing season (I live in Spain) they grow around 40 centimeters! Please, any ideas on identification. First fotos are from what I think it´s a hybrid peruvianoid. The second fotos are from what I think it´s a true pachanoi (maybe hybrid?...). But I sometimes think it could be a PC. What do you think about? Endly, I post a photo from the mother plant of my pachanoi. Tell me if you need better shots. Thank you!

DiscoStu Posted August 25, 2015 welcome Filosalvilo, they're some sexy beasts you have there first I would put in the peruvianus camp, the second i wouldn't say pc pach as it has v-notches above the areoles and from my understanding pc only gets v-notches in exceptional circumstances. the last pics are very sexy and thank-you very much for posting, i love seeing trichocereus and cacti growing in other countries as I get to see growing conditions from around the world. is this a terrace of sorts you plants are growing from?
☽Ţ ҉ĥϋηϠ₡яღ☯ॐ€ðяئॐ♡Pϟiℓℴϟℴ Posted August 25, 2015 Hola Qué tal! Bienvenidos to SAB !! Beautiful specimens you have there! I'm still learning how to ID peruvianus's but I would have guessed both are probably pachanoi ... or if hybrids perhaps,.. foto 1 'feels' like a possible hybrid of scop and bridgesii to my eyes i still don't own a PC [other than a bunch of hybrid PC genepool improvers from a legendary SAB'er in usa] yet ... but your fotos are awesome and thank you for sharing and joining us hasta l'huego, -Caballo del trueno
Evil Genius Posted August 25, 2015 (edited) Hi Filosalvilo, welcome to SAB and congratulations because of the very nice cactus collection you have there. It seems like your Pachanoi is at least PC related, if not actually the PC. Again, Amazing plants. I have a feeling you´ll like it here. Filosalvilo Posted August 25, 2015 Thank you to all for your fast replies! The cactus are growing in a terrace with three hours of direct sunlight, but with many hours of light. The peruvianoid is a magical one, and in the photos don't appear the blue due to the light conditions when I took the shoot. It has a cool blue look. See you!
