nut Posted June 10, 2015 Talking to some people about the use of slow firts for pots recently I was wondering what people would recommend brand wise and quantity wise. I've always used liquid.

theuserformallyknownasd00d Posted June 10, 2015 I use osmocote now, this one https://www.scottsaustralia.com.au/osmocote/osmocote-plus-trace-elements/osmocote-vegetable-tomato-herb-garden-beds/. Once you find a 25kg tub you'll be set for life! Brunnings wholesale is where I got mine. I used to mess around trying to do my own custom mixes but got too hard with products disappearing off shelves etc and couldn't keep it consistent. So yeh just the veggie osmocote and a liquid b&b feed once monthly in summer.

theuserformallyknownasd00d Posted June 10, 2015 Hey nut, tbh I never even noticed it was in there! I just went it for the npk ratio. We did however get torrential rains a mth back, 200mm in 2 days, and non of my pots exploded!
