mysubtleascention Posted December 28, 2014 (edited) Will send 100+ trichocereus seeds to 4 people that have never tried growing cactus from seeds : pc pach x scop pc pach x bridge Nothing too special.. just an opportunity to experience first hand trichocereus seeds germination and seedling development.. Post here to state interest and forward postal details in a personal message .. Advice for starters: - sow as many seeds as you feel comfortable with - use transparent plastic box with some holes poked for air exchange - place in a bright ,warm spot with no direct sunlight and some air flow/wind,fan/ - mist daily - after 4 weeks the lid of the box may be gradually opened to increase air exchange, and removed subsequently - after 6 months direct morning sunlight might be gradually introduced to harden the seedlings - suggested substrate for starting trichocereus seeds/ 3mm sifted /1 part of each: sand, peat soil, vermiculite, perlite - sprinkle the seeds over the wet substrate / the substrate may be preboiled to clean from pests ;wait until it is cooled down before sowing / cheers Edited December 29, 2014 by mysubtleascention
