ID please.

Question

Howdy, any idea on what these are?

I found these growing under some morton bay figs in some wood chips.

There were clusters of them and some growing singularly.

I think the recent heavy rains made the staining on the caps and when I squeezed one it changed colour in around 20 minutes.

They also got pretty battered in my pocket on the bike ride home :P

Where are you located? Either Psilocybe subaeruginosa or P. Allenii.

Hunter region NSW. It was in a park growing near what i think is Leratiomyces ceres.

I thought P Allenii was only found in a small area of western America. Wouldn't this much more likely just be a P. subaeruginosa?

Yeah, as I said, those are definitely subs. I wasnt sure at first because theyre not a common spring find, and I couldnt see his location on mobile version.
