ID of stump fungus

Question

Hey guys, this is a bit of a threefer ID. Two fungi and One tree.

These fungi were growing on the stump of pictured tree. I think it's a Maple?

The original tree was cut down, then shoots came up very thickly so the fungi were protected from the sun.

pretty sure the fungus in the second & third picure is Trametes Versicolor. which if it is, is being studied for it's cancer fighting qualities..
