magical9 Posted February 9, 2014 Ive had these cuttings sitting in the garage for 4 weeks and all this white stuff seems to be appearing. It looks as though its scarring or somthing. Any ideas? Are these cuttings worth moving forward with in the garden?
hostilis Posted February 9, 2014 Looks like scars from spines poking each other. Were they recently shipped to you? It could just be them bumping into each other during shipping and the scars didn't show up till recently.

Foo Posted February 9, 2014 The other 2 fellas are bang on. The scaring wont effect growth. Scaring like that is actually a good thing, if you consider what else can happen with cacti wounds!
