Faster cytoplasmic streaming leads to larger plants

I know this is beyond our reach ....but I thought it might be of interest..............

Introducing the faster motor domain from an alga called Chara corallina into thale cress increased the speed of cytoplasmic streaming and led to larger than normal plants with bigger leaves and greater height and weight.
