at0m Posted November 30, 2013 (edited) Hey, I'm after some root stock for some grafting. I've got some fairly hefty pups I've got to take off and a couple seedlings of a certain spineless variety. I guess I'm after peres? Happy to pay via paypal, bank deposit or bitcoin Some questions too: Can hefty pups (2-3cm+ diameter) be safely cut off? Can they throw roots once they're calloused? Sand? Coir? Can they be grafted onto root stock of any diameter within reason or does 80%+ of the vascular ring need to join up? Edit: Got some, cheers. mystical oyster Posted November 30, 2013 But spose you wouldn't need peres if there 2-3cm?
coolname Posted November 30, 2013 pups that size can be cut off and rooted without any problems. i like to keep them in dry sand until roots start to grow. and the grafting stock can be any size within reason aslong as the vascular rings overlap. good luck
in_spirit Posted November 30, 2013 For quickened growth not for ensuring the seedling survive, grafting can be used to meet a number of needs
