nice clean plants...................hard to tell cereus like these apart I have

Cereus peruvianus , Cereus jamacaru, and Cereus validus

and crosses...............it looks like one of them but if I didn't know mine I couldn't tell them apart, even the fruit is similar..............Cereus jamacaru, does have the shortest spines, but mine is more rounded.........

I have only one other variety that is so short spined they are almost non existent and the wool is hard like leather... no where near a attractive as this one. Both are woody fuckers!

Looks like what I call cereus hexagonus, a bit larger and more attractive than the standard c. peruvianus, I certainly prefer this variety. There is one at the adl bot gardens and it is a monster in girth and height compared to the nearby peruvianus.

I can't give you a certain ID for your plant but just thought I would point out that the name Cereus peruvianus is an old name & is no longer used, any plant that was called C.peruvianus is been placed with other Cereus.

Cheers
