PsillyBean Posted November 17, 2013 This is slightly off topic, but fertiliser related, hope you don't mind double.. recently read that in general cacti prefer a slightly alkaline soil mix. So i wondered what the ph of the fertiliser i was using was. Turns out it was pretty acidic so i added some liquid dolomite to balance it out a bit. Has anyone done experiments to find the best soil/fert ph for there trichs etc? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I used to piss on the ground around my PCs during growing season and sure enough they grew fat and healthy AND they pupped like mad from the base.
