BreakingBarrett Posted October 23, 2013 Hey everyone, I am currently in two minds as to whether the plant I think is d.hopwoodii is actually d.hopwoodii. Went out on a big bush walk today and took some photos of the plants that I think are correct. Most of them don't have flowers anymore and just have berries, so only managed to find two flowers that were still in good shape. Here are the plants. So, what do you guys think? If they're not duboisia, does anyone know what they are? Cheers Barrett

BreakingBarrett Posted October 23, 2013 Thank you terenna; the more I saw them, the more I doubted my first guess.
poisonshroom Posted October 25, 2013 Yep definitely a myoporum of some kind. The flowers are the give-away that it isnt D. hopwoodii. Interesting how similar they look tho (including the purple streaks on the petals)
BreakingBarrett Posted October 25, 2013 Yeah, when I found the first flower I realised I was most likely wrong. Will be heading to a station in SA, called Mutooroo, on Sunday. So hopefully I will come across some d.hopwoodii while out there.
