planthelper Posted October 13, 2013 (edited) thunder, you have to tell us if you can still see the object once it get's dark. probably venus, just read it's very bright currently. venus is located 10 deg from the sun, regarding this site: http://www.nightskyinfo.com/ I just searched for venus with my binoculars but could not find her. but, I saw something I never have seen before, a daylight satellite!! I saw just minutes ago, a bright fast moving object not too far away from the sun. Edited October 13, 2013 by planthelper
planthelper Posted October 13, 2013 were was the object regarding to the sun? left or right? which distance from the sun? will it set before or after the sun?
ThunderIdeal Posted October 13, 2013 i've lost sight of it for now. it was directly overhead, literally directly overhead, meaning that at midday the sun was further north in the sky. i have been noticing venus the last few days, shining bright around the crescent moon. BT, there's no way in hell i could have photographed it. the only reason i could repeatedly locate it was that i knew where to look - straight up - and even then it could be a bitch to find. i will keep yas updated. this is a first for me, seeing a celestial object (other than the moon) during the middle of the day.
