irabionist Posted June 16, 2013 Alright so I got a little shelf in my cupboard and I'm wanting to set it up as a little seed starting/cutting rooting area. At the moment it just has some mycology stuff and a shitty half arsed job at a seed starting shelf So I'll be purchasing some heat mats and I wanted to purchase some lights, what would be recommended? I was thinking of buying these: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/230950580114?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Also, where would be a good place to buy light fixtures? shonman Posted July 20, 2013 (edited) I would recommend, just getting regular fluorescent lights, And if there is room, fasten the below the shelves, above the next shelf down... My setup: is here, in post #88 http://www.shaman-australis.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=35212&page=4#entry428247 Edited July 20, 2013 by shonman
B'Hhmmmm Posted July 20, 2013 Couldn't help but notice the dream cast hahaha wish I still had mine . Carked it on me last year :-( . Fluorescents are the way to go. I've got a two foot double ballast in a old tv cabinet . Works a treat!
