tantra.

1)-a mystical/spiritual system ov psychology, philosophy, & cosmology that aims at the union ov opposites at all levels of being & becoming, from cosmic to quantum levels, on astral, mental & physical planes. this central theme is expressed in many sacred texts, in art, alchemy, science & ritual observance. women & men are seen as microcosmic energies represented by the goddess shakti & the god shiva, in whatever guise they appear.

2)-a sacred treatise containing spiritual & psycho-physical teachings concerned with the transmutation ov energy, liberation ov mind, attainment ov ones true potential & preparation for death.(tending to more buddhist tantra)

3)-literally this sanskrit term has a meaning that can best be approximated by such concepts as "continuum", "web" & "context". this ambiguity has led to the many different translations & definitions ov tantra that can be found.

try doing searches on shakti, kali, vajrayana, mantra & mudra, mandala, yantra, parananda sutra, niruttara tantra, nila tantra, mahanirvana tantra, mahacinacara-sara tantra, kularnava tantra, kumari tantra, kubjika tantra, kaulavali nirnaya tantra, kamakhya tantra, kalivilasa tantra, guptasadhana tantra & for buddhist tantra try searches on kathavatthu tantra, prajnopaya-viniscaya siddhi, jnanasiddhi, hevajra tantra & guhyasamaja tantra- hope that helps, happy searching.

& if you want to know about the sex thing ( which isn't so much 'delaying' orgasm, but prolonging orgasm, erection etc by not ejaculating outwardly, but by controlling & re-directing the flow inwardly) it was refined to an artform by the same toaist monks who developed tai-chi. for the best possible description checkout

"Taoist secrets of love; Cultivating male sexual energy" by mantak chia & michael winn isbn 0-943358-19-1, theres also a female version isbn 0-935621-05-9
