Any info on how cold-hardy Acacia Obtusifolia is? How long does it take to go to seed? Fussy to grow? Thx...MarsOfOld

obtusifolia proly can take up to minus 5 deg C.

sometimes only 3-4 year old saplings bear seeds allready, but only if grown in ideal conditions.

seedings are fuzzy, but older plants are quit easy to grow.

very often the young trees produce more seeds than the old ones...

A.victoria was tested by Johnny Appleseed to contain dmt. Dutchie tested some of the stuff growing around adelaide and got zip. TLC on a nursery plant also got zip.

I got some of J.Appleseed's seed (I think from KTrout - thanks!) and am growing them now.

I guess there is always the chance of misidentification....
