planthelper Posted May 31, 2012 hi ! maybe, you live far away from a big supermarket, but i grew many pepino, solanum muricatum, from supermarket fruit. supermarket fruits are often, the labour of very modern strains. i have grown many plants from supermarket fruits, hehehe. btw, i hate, over ripe pepinos, they are a bit like over ripe five corner fruit, yuk. fresh fruit i found agreeable.
