saguaro Posted April 21, 2012 hey, I have had success germinating them without ever having to soak them. all I did was lay them on moist seed raising mix and kept the environment in the propagator warm and very humid.
waterboy 2.0 Posted April 21, 2012 Look into the "Takeaway Tek" method, works a treat for cacti. WB
Stillman Posted April 21, 2012 takeaway tech is the best for my climate defiantly, but in saying that I have had all sorts of trouble with lophs they seem to be my white whale I get very low germination rates compared to other sp I don't know why?
zelly Posted April 21, 2012 I get very low germination rates compared to other sp I don't know why? Apparently you've never germed any of my seeds. Many people report 98-100% germination rates.
