FancyPants Posted March 9, 2012 Wow! How cool the eye starts picking up shorter wavelengths. Makes total sense. The dreams I have right before I wake up are always so vivid, detailed, and most of them fucked up in a matter of fact way. Luckily Stephen King is my favourite author and have been reading his books since I was 9, so I'm rarely scared. Disturbed yes. Deliberate hallucinations are awesome beyond words. qualia Posted March 9, 2012 Brightly colored spots appearing usually simple and short i always see these bright blue flashes out the corner of my eye. photopsia i think it's called. a sign of fucked up eyesight (as i don't get migraines and i'm not epileptic). Seeing flying insects, various animals or people "Say, Bill. Would you rub some of this powder on my lips?"
TommyChesnutt Posted March 9, 2012 i didnt like the part where they said "substance abuse" instead of "substance use" why does it always have to be abuse? pff was so going to mention the same thing. this chart wildy misrepresents psychotropic substance use in general, as well - gauranteed sometimes the only time someone in their life will experience acute, salient hallucinations. nevertheless, VERY interesting, and thanks for sharing
