chilli Posted February 29, 2012 I am at a bit of a loss as to whether it is okay or not... do I need to fill out customs forms, or can I just send the packages as is? I don't really want to put my return address etc on it if it's dodgy. Do I need to show ID when I lodge something with the customs forms? Basically I have no idea, can any members who have done overseas trades give me a heads up? Thanks!
Mt.B Posted February 29, 2012 (edited) My understanding is, If sending by post, you do not have to fill out a customs dec, though the parcel will potentially have more likelihood of it being scrutinised if it has not got a custom dec. You need to present photo I.D to fill out the customs dec. Edited February 29, 2012 by Mt.B
Goldtop Posted February 29, 2012 Ive sent seeds just in an envolope with bubble wrap and they arrived safe and sound. I think customs forms just gives them a reason to check your shit. Try make it look like a normal letter
Psylo Posted February 29, 2012 Package the consignment with a copy of 'your' passport.
Foo Posted March 1, 2012 If its a large parcel i believe you need to fill out a dec for airmail. IE does not contain magnets, radioactives, chain letters. You dont need to sign anything for a letter, just post.
