Distracted Posted February 29, 2012 Ahhh i've seen that fungus once down linear trail, it was massive, I thought it might be a horse shit but it was too weird, I poked it with a stick for a bit while walkers looked at me strangely.

MorteiN Posted April 14, 2012 Hey I'm a noob but are these dog turds? I found them shortly before easter on the mid north coast (was pretty damn dry the land and the days that led up) Sort of like spore sacks... had a firm footing in the ground but the tops seem'd hollowish and full of sporey crap. See the older one next to the freshies.

Distracted Posted April 14, 2012 Thanks for bumping this thread... i just saw a rather big one today while walking down a street, i split it open a few times and it looks so so strange, almost like mycelium grown on grain but looks kinda edible. Can't remember the smell.. but the thing stained my hands something fierce, had to walk for 10 mins with horrible brown/green/black hands till i could wash it off.
