Ethos Posted February 21, 2012 Hey Everyone, I will be auctioning off this Lophophora Williamsii, a starting price of $30 I have had this Loph for a bit over a year now and it has thrown out around 4 seed pods and flowered 7 or 8 times, the only reason I am letting it go is that I have to downsize my collection and focus on work. It measures 5.7cm at its widest and is on its original roots or so it seems. Here are some pictures Potential buyer's post what your bid is in this thread, there is no limits on how many times you can bid. The auction will end 10pm tonight and the winner will be the person with most recent bid when I chime in at 10pm, they will then be PM'd bank details to perform a direct deposit. Note: Only bidder's from Australian states that allow this plant to be sent through Auspost, will be sent through express post covered by me which gives the fastest delivery time. Happy bidding, Ethos

Ethos Posted February 21, 2012 also when posting It will be sent bare roots unless the winning bidder informs me they want it sent as is, in which case it may cost a little extra to help cover postage
tonic Posted February 21, 2012 Would pick up be available at all?
tipz Posted February 21, 2012 (edited) Can you be sure It's hard grown from seed ? Looks that it has quite a fibrous root system somewhat smaller than hardgrown lophs from that size ? Just asking as I am thinking of incresing my bid, but Im a fussy bastid and really will ony do so if you can verify It is not a de-graft ? (edit) then again, looking at the close up maybe i am wrong about the root system ? (doube edit - seems worth a larger bid either way but i need to tame this loph addiction of mine - im out ) Edited February 21, 2012 by tipz
Ethos Posted February 21, 2012 (edited) Sorry Tipz I cannot be sure, that is why i stated that it 'seemed' to bee on its own roots and included that picture of when i first recieved it, it could be a very old de-graft but as I said I can't really be sure. and Tonic yes pick up could be arranged. Edit; I will also chuck in a bag of 40 Lophophora Williamsii Caeospitosa var. seeds when its packed and sent out to the winning bidder Goodluck everyone Edited February 21, 2012 by Ethos
