woof woof woof Posted December 2, 2011 (edited) hellow peeps! anyone have experience with trichocerues cacti that flower in tropical areas. where I live Daytime average is 30C Nightime average is 25C and it stays right around that temp all year long. My lat is 12 deg. So very tropical temps all year long. ( but semi arid ) Never had trichs flower. Have had them grow up to 3 meters tall. T. peruvianus & patchanoi. I've tried ferting and even cold shocking by freezing blocks of ice with fert in the pot or on the ground around the trichs. But Nada! My question is now; which Tricho's come from the lower elevations in Peru or preferably Equador. I am seeing all these nice Trich flowers and now I want to have them flower here too. I think it's time for me to try source some seed of these lower elevation trichs. I want flowers darnit! ;) Or any ideas?
