Philocacti Posted November 29, 2011 A "Good SABian" who doesn't want me to mention his name, sent me a whole bunch of seeds from different kinds of cacti. The most humbling thing is i never asked him for anything. Out of the blue this cactus angel offered me to send me "some" seeds but these "some" were more than plenty. Thanks a lot my dear friend, i really appreciate it What's better than his gift is that to know a person so helpful and generous such as him  I don't think i have enough pereskiopsis for all these different kinds. Time to propagate these cacti weeds on a large scale. Here is the list he sent me, i'm going to post pics as soon as they germinate ;) SABian L. williamsii 40 year old seeds Lw caestoposa Dragonfruit Ariocarpus fissuratus Ariocarpus retusus Ariocarpus retusus ssp trigonus Ariocarpus (voidesXhintoni) Werderman haage (can’t read the name) Echinopsis sublenuda Echinopsis kinppellianus Echinopsis camargoemsis KK1413 Oreocereus mix Lohocereus schottii Gasteria mix Trichocereus peruvianus ICAROS SS02XJG BrevispinulosusX(JuulsXperuv) JuulsXperuv F2 Astro hybrids Pilocereus Azure Epithelanta micromeris Melocactus bahensis Melocactus conoideus Frailea astroides Ecit. Philocacti Posted December 19, 2011 Until now few have germinated from almost all the seeds. I grafted 4 of the Astro hybrids and all of them took, can't wait to see how they will turn out My biggest challenge is rooting more pereskiopsis in this cold weather. It takes double the time to root.
