apothecary Posted July 14, 2005 Are Lobelia interchangable, or are inflata and tupa the only two worth growing. Big W has large seedling trays of Lobelia (unnamed sp.) for $3.
Torsten Posted July 14, 2005 the trays would be L.alata I think. Yes, they are all pretty much interchangable. The large leaf species are easier to grow and harvest.
nabraxas Posted July 15, 2005 i told a friend ov mine about Lobelia, before i knew there were more than 1 species. he tried some from his garden, that was probably alata---he loved it, when he'd smoked the lot from his garden he started ripping up nature strips---i do not condone such behavior, just using it as an illustration ov how much he liked it. i tried it, maybe a mild buzz.(i seem to have a high tolerance to most things though) i think i posted about it at the time.
