I think you're right with the Turbinicarpus names but not sure about the Mammillaria, don't have any reference material for that.

Awesome plants though :drool2: thanks for sharing.

#2 looks like it could be a Coryphantha. Have a look at the upper side of the tubercle and see if it has a grove that runs from the areole tip to the inner axil. Such grooves are typical of the genus.

yeah thats the closest thing i can find to it,but it doesnt quite match any pics i can find of gymno mihanovichii though?

It looks like it just has not filled out yet because its a young plant

I wouldn't have picked the Coryphantha, good one.

I'd agree with Mac on the Gymnocalycium mihanovichi, the tufts are interesting.

Could be variation in the species or it might be about to flower, mine doesn't get tufts like that though.
