james_gould Posted April 20, 2011 Hey guys. Uncle Jeremy is moving out at short notice and will not be able to take care of our plants. We are looking to make either an arrangement for a new home in Brisbane or a sale. Will not post them as they are too large. 1. Two and a half year old Mimosa Verrucosa, about two metres tall. 2. Two and a half year old Mimosa Hostilis, about two metres tall if the trunk was not bent. Can post some photos soon. Ideally am looking at an arrangement as follows but am open to suggestion. Hoping to get a $200 deposit that will give you the right to take possession of the plants. After a few months - giving us time to move house, if you decide that you don't want them I can take them back off you and give the deposit back, provided they are alive and well. Also if you decide you want to keep them then that is up to you. These are plants that I am very intimate with and I know them well. These particular chappies thrive in cloudy humid weather when situated here in Brisbane. Start to burn up a bit under extended direct sunlight. Reasonably easy to maintain. Also, if youre thinking of active content then forget it. There is not enough bark on these to produce even an iota of the amount you will need. I am using them purely for skin creams. james_gould Posted May 17, 2011 Do it for the plants, hurry, hurry, hurry, pick them up for $50 each! OK, nobody has taken the bait in time. They are going to die - restoration/wrecking crew is going to give this place a workover by the end of the week and I cannot move these heavy pots! Last resort, pick them up for $50 each. PM me if your interested. I am also open to any other suggestions; all I want is for the plants to survive in the end.

james_gould Posted May 17, 2011 i could potentially pick up monday.. does that work? Have been PM'd with an offer for picking them up tomorrow. If it falls through I will PM you. Would be a disaster to see these guys perish so at the moment, you are my backup plan.
