Blood Trance Fusion Posted January 3, 2011 Hi. I've been wandering around my area and given that - as far as I know - it's Acacia maidenii flowering-season, I took some photographs of these suspects in the hope that any of them are maideniis and if not, what they are so I know what they are for next time. I have lots of maidenii growing at home but am not certain on what they'll look like in adulthood! Thanks in advance, everyone.

CβL Posted January 3, 2011 (edited) All of those aren't Acacias. Look at the veins on the leaves. They are singular. Acacias have characteristic venation. Edited January 3, 2011 by bluntmuffin
Blood Trance Fusion Posted January 3, 2011 All of those aren't Acacias. Look at the veins on the leaves. They are singular. Acacias have characteristic venation. Thanks! I'm really new to this and was, admittedly, jumping to conclusions from leaf and flower colour. I'll keep an eye out and once my maidenii are older I'll be an authority on them.
