watertrade Posted October 24, 2010 (edited) Hi Folks, You may not know it but CERES, (Centre for Education and Research in Environmental Strategies) has been doing some great work environmental/ educational work for the last 25 years. They are a great bunch of people giving a lot of time back to the community and making a difference. It was quite funny, I was wondering if they had any mycological interests, then ( about a week later) I received an email from them asking for any available cultures as they are setting up a mushroom growing area. I will help but thought I would also invite you guys to donate any available cultures you might have spare at the moment. I will be sending the following as they ready to send out but will send more when I next make up plates. Grifola frondosa Pleurotus djamor Pleurotus pulmonarius Hypsizgus ulmarius Pholiota nameko Pleurotus nebrodensis I personally think fungi have so much to offer a group like CERES. If I lived locally I would go give them a hand. Hope you can help! PM me for the address to send the cultures too. I will check with them before I post it here. http://vimeo.com/6585328 http://www.ceres.org.au/ Edited October 24, 2010 by watertrade
