snaps Posted October 20, 2010 Howdy, Ive just picked up a Piper subpeltatum plant from SAB, im just wondering if the berries are edible? id like to dry and grind the berries just as you would with Piper nigrum. Is this possible? more so is it palatable? Cheers Snaps

mr me Posted November 9, 2010 I have a Piper subpeltatum growing in my living room and it has reached a height of 60cm. I don't think this variety of Piper has berries. If I'm wrong then someone correct me.

Torsten Posted November 10, 2010 count yourself lucky, SA just ran out of piper subpeltatam =[ purchases of this seem to eb sporadic, so sometimes we don't sell any for ages and then 10 in a week. check back regularly as we grow them all the time.
