ID - White bracket fungus on hay bale
snaps replied to hellothere's question in Fungus Identification
Not quite sure, but looks very similar to a Pleurotus pulmonarius or porrigens. -
Howdy, Ive just picked up a Piper subpeltatum plant from SAB, im just wondering if the berries are edible? id like to dry and grind the berries just as you would with Piper nigrum. Is this possible? more so is it palatable? Cheers Snaps

Thanks for the info blokes. Capsaicin really has to be treated with care when handling. i assume pepper spray is illegal because of its mechanism of use. I grow lots of Bhut/Naga jolokias, i suppose they could be a pretty nasty weapon if i chewed it up and spat in someones face. but yeah that aside i dont intend for this to be used as a weapon in anyform. I have not been able to use the AQIS site successfully, so i might give them a call monday.

Hi, I'd be greatly appreciative if someone could point me in the right direction regarding the legality of pure capsaicin, this is in regards to possession and importation? Thanks
