psili sausage Posted September 2, 2010 http://www.abc.net.a.../02/3000587.htm Instead of trying to legitimately solve issues with indigenous australians, our government implements pointless things like national sorry day and then continues to pull of stunts like this. sapito Posted September 2, 2010 as you said, the sorry speech was a big pile of shit. It made people feel all yummy and progressive while the same shit goes on that has happened since day one of colonisation. This is just another step 'moving forward', Indigenous ways of seeing the world are not respected and I cant see a change happening in the near future. They cant get the local custodians of the land to do as they are told so they use brute force. Australia continues to head in such a shitty direction, time to jump ship? AndyAmine. Posted September 2, 2010 (edited) BP will kick you off your land as well as anyone elses if they find natural resorces under it because it doesnt belong to you even if you paid for the dirt, I remeber seeing on the news not long ago where a woman had just bought a farm, she got a couple of notices to inspect and didnt think much of them until she came home form a weekend away to find them drilling for oil and setting up a sub station in her backyard. bℓσωηG Posted September 3, 2010 ...and yet they keep telling us the world is overpopulated and ''we'' are to blame for environmental degradation lmao. When will people wake up and realize government is run by a bunch of corporations that seek total control. Psili-sausage i dig your new avatar ,reminds me of this one.... Μορφέας Posted September 3, 2010 The enviromental impact is minimal, within only 1-2 square km, its really not that bad of a thing

Magicdirt Posted September 4, 2010 We've got oil spewing all over the oceans and now they have to turn the earth into a lump of swiss cheese drilling for gas. The bastards even plan to drill the oceans off the east coast of Australia for oil and gas, where does it all stop, all this talk of renewable energy is just a smokescreen so we can't see what really going on all around us. In the words of Serbian prophet Mitar Tarabich People will drill wells deep in the ground and dig out gold, which will give them light, speed and power, and the earth will shed tears of sorrow, because there will be much more gold and light on its surface than in its interior. The earth will suffer because of these open wounds. Instead of working in the fields, people will dig everywhere, in right and wrong places, but the real power will be all around them, not being able to tell them, 'Come on, take me, don't you see that I am here, all around you.' Only after many a summer, people will remember this real power, and then they will realize how stupid it was to dig all those holes. This power will also be present in people but it will take a long time before they discover it and use it. Thus man will live for a long, long time, not being able to know himself. There will be many learned men who will think through their books that they know and can do everything. They will be the great obstacle for this realization [self-knowledge], but once men get this knowledge, then people will see what kind of delusion it was when they listened to their learned men. When that happens, people will be so sorry that they didn't discover it before, because this knowledge is so simple. Those who will read and write different books with numbers will think that they know the most. These learned men will let their lives be led by their calculations, and they will do and live exactly how these numbers tell them. Among these learned men there will be good and evil men. The evil ones will do evil deeds. They will poison air and water and spread pestilence over the seas, rivers and earth, and people will start to die suddenly of various ailments. Those good and wise will see that all this effort and hard work is not worth a penny and that it leads to the destruction of the world, and instead of looking for wisdom in numbers, they will start to seek it in meditation.
