Desert greenhouse - heavy images

Question

Hi,

These plants are badly shaped and mistreated. The ownwers are going to demolish the whole greenhouse and are readily giving away cuttings.

As you can see there are some very interesting cacti there and I want to help finding them a better home, I haven't been able to ID all of them so ID would be more than welcome.

Thanks

Oh man. That is so sad! You must get those cuttings out. Trouble is, you won't get many takers on this forum due to the difficulty in getting things shipped into Australia.

Beautiful bridgesii, amazing crests, impressive monstrose forms.

I hope you can find some takers in the international community.

Hey Pacha , nice find--- save them! I recognised the following #1 Cleistocactus, #9&10 Myrtillocactus #13 Cereus #16 Euphobia #17&18 cylindropuntia montrose crested? ----The Trichocereus bridgesii #15 ,you have over there is very nice indeed . I hope they aren't going to demolish the greenhouse itself, I would love one that size.

#2 Stenocereus spp - possibly griseus. Stenocereus fruit are edible, never tried it - but i heard they are delicious.

Any idea what those leafy plants are? They look like they could possibly be narrrow leaf khat, or some Acacia species. Kinda hard to tell from pic, im probably wrong but it could be worthwhile looking into them further also.

Nice replies guys. If possible I hope to take out the whole cactus with their own roots(some are 3 meters high), I don't have a garden, but some of my friends do. I would love to share with you people, ever since I discovered the world of cactus this forum has been incredibly helpful!

Solvo, I will try to get the ID of the other plants there, a friend also told me there might be some non-cacti ethnos in this greenhouse...

Best of luck with the removals! Please see if you can take time to take pics of the cacti in transport!
