So dies Voacanga actually contain Ibogaine or is the problem just that Customs says it does?

I know people here have had problems with importing seed but i want to know if this extract would be legal to import

That is if in fact Voacanga does not contain Ibogaine, even if customs believes it does, and it was not labelled as Voacanga 12x, then i presume it would be completely OK as should it be analysed to verify it swould come up negative for prohibited susbstances

Trace amounts of ibo have reportedly been found in Voacanga, but I do not have the references.

At any rate, the US govt found the percentage to be so low they allowed in a shipment of seeds that they had stopped and have not bothered anyone since over them.

no, it means you can't import anything that contains even an insignificant amount of ibogaine.

The reference would be good

Was the amount so low it was undetectable? is that why it was let in?

Thats the critical point

For example if there was Ibogaine in the root bark but not the seeds - then a seed extract would be good so long as its not labelled voacanga

Then if it was tested it would come up negative anyway so you win.

Its diff in that case to the seed which - customs would say - can be germinated to grow the plant that has the rootbark that contains ibogaine....therefore being prohibited
