Good home machinist forum?

Recommended Posts

So I'm browsing around for a web forum for non-CNC home/hobby machining, anyone have an especially good one book marked? I can find several in google but I figure my friends here might have experience :)

So far The Home Machinist! looks adequate, but there isnt much on making custom car parts. I make a fair number of parts for trade and I just got a 1950 Plymouth Fastback to fill with unique parts :)

Yeah some parts are getting hard to get tho there are alot of reproductions for popular old cars. Hand made parts are more for when specialized designs are needed/wanted that never got produced to begin with.

Yup, plymouth was a chrysler brand, this is the model I just got :)

Not that car  mines a bit more rusted and dented and the inside looks as though it lost a fight with a drunken shark.. but that model  Some of the best cars were made in the early to mid 50's
