lickapop
I am in the planning process of moving to Tasmania in 18mths ish,and before I start getting attached my little friends and getting a collection together,I would like to know, Can I legally take cactus into Tas?I am aware of the quarantine laws. I may not respect some laws but I do respect Australian quarantine laws. The last thing I want to do is introduce a pest. So smuggling is definitely out for me.I have and will UTSE but IMO nothing beats the experience and knowledge of other members asopposed to reading copious amounts of legislation. So a quick 'yes it can be done, you need to fill out a form and its all good' or a 'No chance dont even try' will help meout heaps.
