odd woodrose leaf shape

Recommended Posts

my HBWR has hit its second season of growth and is doing really well. however ive noticed that in a lot of its new growth the leaves are apearing "cigar" or oblong shaped rather than the uasual heart shape. is this normal or maybe a mutation?

Ive had some reverse hearts on mine! there seems to be quite a variance from the heart, so I would say it was normal.

i grew mine outside, and then it died a few months ago after some dickhead sprayed it with herbicide :( (no, not me)

it was about 12 months old and hadn't flowered.

I hear that rivea does better in perth than HBWR.

And rivea sure behaves strangely in Brisbane:

Mine set countless flowers, but had very few seed.

I still haven't worked out what happened....
