ralid Posted December 11, 2008 (edited) Hi, I got a letter from the german customs. They caught my order from SAB (1x Voacanga africana, 1x Psychotria fitzalanii). I think they still don't know that the package has plants in it but I have to open it if I pick it up. Are here any Germans which have experiences with that? Is there a possibility to get the plants or can I get problems at the customs? Edited December 11, 2008 by ralid
C_T Posted December 12, 2008 I think you need to read you local German import laws...
Torsten Posted December 12, 2008 I don't think you will get into trouble, but you may also not get the plants. It's worth a try though. The invoice clearly states what the plants are and I am not aware of any drug or conservation restrictions on those species. I've had a similar situation in germany with damiana plants and all ended up well, but I also know of cases where the plants were simply refused for quarantine reasons. good luck! Evil Genius Posted December 12, 2008 (edited) Not a Problem. Just wait till they send you the plants! These arent restricted but sometimes they take some time to figure out. German customs do weird stuff all the time. bye Eg Edited December 12, 2008 by Evil Genius
