Pedro ID

Question

I'm still learning the finer art of cactus id but I think its a peruvians...anyways I picked it up at Bunnings today and there was one other a trich that was about 12" tall $22 ..heheh I only had $20 to spend and needed vermiculite and charcoal lol....other than that no other active cactus..so I got this little bugger...I hardly leave the house these days and rode my bike the 5 miles to Bunnings..when I got back I had black shit comin outta my nose from being amongst the traffic on my bike lol..go figure..

anyways whats this cactus, Pedro or somethin else...

I can't say for sure. Looks like peruvianus, but also has some bridgeseoid qualities IMO, so could be a hybrid or something. Definitely not pedro...unless you mean pedro macho, which is peruvianus. I'm not too good with IDing the little guys, so take everything I say with a grain of salt and wait for someone who actually knows what they're talking about.

Yeah I'll second bridgesii with 80% certainty. Otherwise it might fall under peruvianoid/macronoid. Definately a possibility that it's a hybrid (most that come from bunnings are hybrids IME) in which case it could be a combo of these or even something different altogether.
