Okay... now I'm confused

Question

Well, my front yard has spawned another handful of mushies that may or may not be psilocybes...

However, unlike previous confirmed subs, these ones don't seem to blue very much when handled. Now, I've found a couple of specimens here that blued intensely... these ones barely blue at all. Are these subs, some other psilocybe, or am I on the wrong track altogether?

Cheers for your help guys. I'm slowly getting the hang of ID'ing the fungi in the local area, although even this one genus is rather variable, it seems.

subs are crazy variable... i can't believe they're all the same species but smarter people than me tell me they are so i go along with it and call every Psilocybe around here that blues a sub.

The top specimen in the last photo has obvious blueing at the base of the stem, and i would guess the bottom one is a sub as well. Take spore prints to confirm though

I would almost go as far as saying they are almost not a sub, but definitely a psilocybe.. if it is a sub, like you guys said, incredibly unique looking specimens.
