Sorry for being a little OT, but I have a query.

Down around nasca in peru, I noticed a lot of acacia-like trees with bright red-to-orange flowers. They also have long flat (> 1 ft) brown seed pods, but the flowers look nothing like any acacia I have ever seen- more like a hyacinth, with big separate petals- but the locals only know of them as ´acacias´.

Any ideas?

sorry gwydion, no idea.

t st tantra - scarlet leprosa seed was found NOT to produce red flowers in several generations. The genes don't seem to be passed on, or might be totally masked.
