Zen Peddler Posted September 6, 2007 I believe Blue Meanie was a big fan of brian Eno - I too love his works - primarily green world and the works he did with David Bowie - check out Moss Garden and the sublime Subterraneans and tell me these guys arent the gods of ambient music... I mean Bedouin Ascent and Ising High records were good (Caspar Pound, m-age, etc) but this old 70s stuff was perfect because it created such a feeling or movement of the mind - painted a real picture - the alienation of subterraneans, the wonder of The Big Ship, The relaxation of Moss Garden. That is why i loved Campfire Headphase by BOC - Satellite Anthem Icarus - pure nostalgia mixed with sunny afternoon with kids - wicked
