Auxin Posted May 28, 2007 Over here in the United States we have this holiday on the last monday of may called memorial day. It is meant to commemorate american men and women who have died in military service to the US. After being tied down in illegal wars of aggression for years and waging the tremendously ill-conceived Global War of Terror I cant quite bring myself to take a day to honor the freshly buried war criminals. Therefore let americans of good conscious use the day of the 28th to take pause and consider the tremendous courage and honor that has been demonstrated by the american men and women who have put their own saftey and even freedom at risk and have refused deployment to military actions which are both immoral and illegal under international law. Many have spent time in prison and have had their lives turned upside down to do what they know to be right. Especially when its in search for oil and other resources that they claim should be theirs... I salute Auxin and anyone else who can see past the propeganda that is American television and advertising. And media campaigns. The geosocial nation explaination can never change be of domination because of the language difference. A conquerer has to rely on interpreters.
