paradox Posted April 9, 2007 hang on a minute! i've just done a google search for sida rhombifolia and it's telling me that it is Paddy's lucern! i thought i had absolutely no experience with this plant, but if it is paddy's lucern then that stuff grows everywhere around my place. when i was a kid i used to eat the leaves. when you chew them they take on a delightful slimy consistency and they actually taste pretty good. is sida rhombifolia paddy's lucern? Torsten Posted April 9, 2007 the fresh young leaves make a delightful refreshing [and probably stimulating] tea.
Vertmorpheus Posted April 9, 2007 Sida r is pretty common around here, Sida c is a lil less common , but of late I've been seeing things that look like mum was one and dad was the other. Might skew some ID's a little bit but it's easy enough to nail down to Sida if not the actual species.
