I might have to look into invitro myself. never have before. any good articles of teks around. well done, Cheers, Obtuse thanks actually not... you gotta buy books. i recommend those 2 (you just need to buy 1 ): - plants from test tubes (the "better" one) - experiments in plant tissue culture (also ok) but know... tissue culture needs much money for chemicals and scale and so on... was easy for me.. coz i have most of the stuff for mushroom cultivation (autoclave, hepa and so on...) but good luck from my side :D
ENtiTY Posted March 3, 2007 Hmmm... I was once interested in growing some Dionea Muscipula clones. Put it in the to hard basket at the time due to no gear and no know how, but now I have all the gear for mushies so I got no excuse to find out. Thanx Mr duck, you've refreshed my memory on a fascinating area of plant propagation. Time to carve up some carnivors! Where's the best place to find these books Mr Duck? Thanx Mr duck, you've refreshed my memory on a fascinating area of plant propagation. Time to carve up some carnivors! Where's the best place to find these books Mr Duck? amazon will do the trick. but i let you know that you need more equipment, hepa and stuff wont be enuf. you need a very good scale (mine is able to do 0,1mg), a ph-meter and lotsa chemicals. total cost was about 2500-3000 euro (1 euro = 1,32 us-dollars) i hope this info is useful for you
ducker Posted March 3, 2007 Wow cool!Nice garden! Are the cacti harder or easier to grow than normal plants? quite the same.. you just need patience, when you setup new plants. and several media changes hehehehe i hope the offspring reacts faster to the medium, as they should know now their new home/habitat.
