apothecary Posted February 11, 2007 Yeah looks more like a 'blue peru'?
XipeTotec Posted February 11, 2007 (edited) Yeah looks more like a 'blue peru'? yeah, the spines are short compared to my other brigdesii...I thought it may have been a short spined variety. I guess it could also be a longer spined peruvianus, although the shape seems more bridgesii. if someone has a more reliable ID, please let me know, I would be greatly appreciative. The specimen it was taken from is about 30 years old if that makes a difference to ID. Edited February 11, 2007 by shroomytoonos

XipeTotec Posted February 12, 2007 (edited) Ditto mr werp thanks for you ID input, I have started a new thread with better pics. within the ID forum, for further ID contributions,(titled: ID for strange trichocereus). All you contributions will be much appreciated. Edited February 12, 2007 by shroomytoonos
egad Posted February 12, 2007 I would have said trichocereus macrogonus for sure too, spination is far more reminscent of the macrogonus than bridgesii. Peace.
