Robert Posted January 29, 2003 I was hoping I could get some good information here about some of my recent plant purchases. Any growing and using information would be very useful, along with personal opinions as to how they rank with you. Are they any good, what experiences you may have had using them, cultivation requirements, etc? 1) Leonurus sibiricus 2) Hieracium pilosella 3) Artemisia Absinthium (Wormwood) 4) Heimia salicifolia 5) Kava Plant (Mo'i Cultivar) 6) Areca catechu (Dwarf Betel Nut Palm) 7) Banisteriopsis caapi Ayahuasca 8) Leontis leonurus 9) Piper Betle 10) Psychotria viridis
squiresk Posted January 29, 2003 As your new, I would like to point you to the pages within this site. Lots of very good info. e.g http://www.shaman-australis.com/Website/subcat75.htm http://www.shaman-australis.com/Website/subcat26.htm http://www.shaman-australis.com/Website/subcat68.htm http://www.shaman-australis.com/Website/subcat106.htm http://www.shaman-australis.com/Website/subcat32.htm http://www.shaman-australis.com/Website/subcat173.htm http://www.shaman-australis.com/Website/subcat72.htm http://www.shaman-australis.com/Website/subcat105.htm http://www.shaman-australis.com/Website/subcat110.htm And of course, the search function is pretty useful. However you may find big chunks gone, there was some problems a while back. Apologies if you have already seen these pages and are in search of more detailed info, but I find them a good place to start. Kai

Torsten Posted January 30, 2003 the search function should be working 100% now. sure, there are a few posts that got lost some 14 months ago, but a newbie wouldn't know about them anyway (and there is no trace of them now)
nabraxas Posted January 30, 2003 robert- i'm a total idiot, so i wouldn't take this too seriously, but you might get more useable personal info if you ask & follow up your questions, on one plant at a time? also, if you can say what you do know, you'll appear somewhat researched & folks will be more able/willing(?) to help you also, sorry geezer i can't help you w/any ov those. Robert Posted January 31, 2003 nabraxas- Thanks for your honesty. I understand I may have caused a sensory overload (smile) by asking about to many plants. I guess I'll have to put my time in and get as much information as possible the ole fashioned way. Your sincerity is appreciated. Thanks to the others who responded as well, I'll be sure to check out the info you supplied.
