Dirty Old Man Posted May 2, 2006 Coles budgie seed mix, will it work. Its pretty cheap at about $6 for 5kg. Contents: Panicum White french millet Wheat Sorghum Red panicum millet Shell grit I'm assuming once sterilised the shel grit won't be a problem?
Eikel Posted May 2, 2006 The seeds all look fine, the shell-grit may actually be a positive as oyster (and other) shells are primarily calcium-based and good for mushies. Give it a try and see how it goes, grain is cheap (as are spores/cultures).
