  2. Another one people may like!

    Edward F. Anderson

    The Cactus Family

    Timber Press | 2001 | ISBN: 0881924989 | 776 pages | PDF | 149 Mb

The strange spiny spectacle of cactus plants comes under close and expert scrutiny in this study of great breadth and fascinating detail. Amateur growers and scholars alike will be able to delve into Anderson's treatise and come away with increased understanding of the nearly two thousand species comprising an extraordinary family of New World succulents. On a practical level, Anderson is an eminently inviting writer who delivers intriguing descriptions of the characteristics that set these plants apart. He also presents brief but brilliant surveys of ethnobotany and conservation issues. While more than 1,000 photographs overall illustrate the extraordinary diversity and beautiful flowers of cacti, the main section--an alphabetically arranged reference--will arguably rank as the definitive work readers will use to examine and identify cactus genera, species, and subspecies.

  3. Hi.

I've been wandering around my area and given that - as far as I know - it's Acacia maidenii flowering-season, I took some photographs of these suspects in the hope that any of them are maideniis and if not, what they are so I know what they are for next time. I have lots of maidenii growing at home but am not certain on what they'll look like in adulthood!

    Thanks in advance, everyone.

  4. I was in a bit of a rush and took a bit much! There is 15cm of fresh mulch over the site so i think it'll be good for at least a couple of years.. I actually think it'll be fruiting again next week!

  5. It may be good to brew double at least what you think and re dose 40min to an hour later, brewing the maoi and other part together means you don't have to worry about lack of maoi inhibition when re dosing. Apart from that, what chiral said..
