    ID help Red spined peruvianoid

Looks like my one! but i'm starting to think it's not peru' or mac' after looking at seedlings, ( who knows if seeds are id'd right) but i grew a pachanoi seedling that looks nearly the same! So maybe it's a long spined pachanoi! or i got misidentified seed..

    unorthodox bridgesii forms

The 'melted wax' is quite different to the usual shinier skinned bridgesii tho.. tends to grow a bit thicker, I made one cutting from this type, (normal growing section)and it turned monstroe again! Don't know if it's a useful form tho..
  3. A friend from Byron land recently mentioned this plant as being a stimulant.. Mesembrine is mentioned as possible in some other Carp' species in Trout's notes.. Is this common knowledge? or crazy talk? If it is Mesembrine what kind of activity could one expect..

    Carpobrotus glaucescens?

That would be about the stuff i was thinking of! But more Narrabeen-Longreef, I thought glaucescens was the only Carpobrotus we had around here?

    cookin

You could always skin them and use fresh. Appropriate with some forms more than others.

    San Pedro Cultivation

i have had them go dormant here in sydney the past few years, except this year some i had on the roof of a pergola (for lack of space ) just kept on going, they were peru', pach, and brigesii monstrose, a couple of metres in altitude made a big difference, i live pretty coastal though.

    B.Caapi care

in Sydney atleast if the roots hit the ground and it's fairly shady, you barely need to worry about them, except for prolonged dry weather, meaning occasional water is required.
  16. season old B caapi 150mm pots P viridis 75mm tubes, prefer to sell or good trich' clone trades pm if interested

    Making cactus taste better

after a go at chewing fresh chunks which is fine, i once tried a fruit salad with pineapple chunks, which was worse, better to try contracting ie (twice short simmered small volume of lime juice) than expanding with sweetness from my experience.

    bridgesii potency

And what dosage in weight? I have a couple bridgesiis but it will be years before I harvest any. I also have a bunch of seedlings but ditto for them. even a small amount improves pachanoi when used as an ad-mixture like 50-100g fresh, don't wait long!

    Bridgesii

it may be due to some other factors but, the only time i have ever heard of someone being sick was from a scop', used fresh a kind of disorientation began before it was even all ingested, continued, never got psychedelic at all, felt like poisoning, no visuals, just imaginings of soon being in an emergency room, the niceness of brigesii would be about the exact reverse of the above [ 05. Bridgesii

yes, definately go out and buy some, torsten is right they are really nice, if you want one to avoid make it scopulicolus, they are probably just as potent but not half as "nice"

    superfast peyote

I thought potency was influenced by the age of the Loph, not the rootstock,(maybe related as to growth rate), i have been under the impression that alkaloids kept to their own sides in grafts?

    sydney bookstores

Better read than dead, next to Dendy at Newtown has an Underculture section which occasionally has this sort of stuff, Borders in Pitt st Mall seems to have a bit of everything.
