  1. If it all has will, intent or is otherwise 'conscious' or directed by something I would have thought that thing would fall somewhere into the god area and hence be a theistic view? I wouldn't consider myself atheist, I think any extra physical belief would disqualify me from that (i have many).
  2. religious people believe though infinite 'IT', has mind and always has, is? An atheist believes what ever there is emerged by chance.

Post copied from Aust ethnobotany.. http://www.evolver.net/group/evolver_sy ... re_meeting Date: Wednesday, March 17, 2010 Time: 7:00pm - 10:00pm Location: The Hive, Erskineville: 93 Erskineville Rd - www.thehivebar.com.au For millennia, cultures around the world expanded minds and visions with “teacher plants” – what we commonly know today as psychedelics. The widespread popularity of LSD during the 1960s awakened the Western psyche to these powerful substances, ushering in a period of wild experimentation that revolutionized art and music, inspired social movements, and opened new vistas of possibility for psychotherapy. But a swift backlash from the establishment made psychedelics illegal, repressing and marginalizing them as “dangerous drugs.” Today, there is new potential for psychedelics to be reintroduced into mainstream culture, not as drastic catalysts of social upheaval but as tools that can help people overcome serious problems, explore mystical experiences, find inspiration, and understand more about consciousness and the brain. Psychedelic research with human subjects is underway again after a 35-year blockade, thanks to the efforts of non-profit organizations like MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies) and the Beckley Foundation. Prominent newspapers and magazines are giving these substances another look, acknowledging their potential for therapeutic and spiritual breakthroughs if used with care. At the same time, the worldwide resurgence of interest in indigenous shamanism indicates a deeper maturity and respect emerging toward these ancient sacraments. In this Spore, we will explore and discuss the exciting new frontiers for psychedelics in our modern culture, as both scientifically verified medicines and intentional tools for personal development. http://www.evolver.net/psychedelics_spore Birdwing Posts: 87 Joined: Sun 20,Apr, 2008 8:40 pm Location: In & outta space

I would've liked to have stayed a while longer, and talked to some people. Didn't have anywhere to leave my dog, and he was a bit freaked out at all the people and everything.. I liked raks quiet revolution angle with regards to ayahuasca

    Named Bridgesii clones

I have jess and con in the ground next to each other and con is always a little fatter than jess. These two actually look quite distinct in my garden but similar in your pics! I would guess con on left and jess in middle.. neither of these clones have the chubby round ribs of the tip on the right.

    Whats the go????

I read a little bit about this in 'Garden of Eden', apparently the sugar is intended to feed a species of fungus and improve the smoke! I can have a re- read unless someone else has a copy close or other info?

    Leaves on Trichocereus

I was thinking about these yesterday, I have seen them on TBM, eileen, plus a couple of unnamed very good peruvianus. They are now quite prominent on about 30% of my 3yr old bridgesii seedlings. They are absent on at least a couple to my knowledge of good bridgesii clones. Has anyone seen them on a Trich' that turned out to be weak or useless? They may be a partial indicator when looking at seed growns and wondering..

    lost and found

Perhaps lost is a disconnect, where the searching is all about individual identity, and found is an observation of all that is and recognizing it as aspects of self and having the ability to engage with it as such. Using every experience as one of looking at self, not looking for self?
  21. http://www.aabr.org.au/ is a good place to look for that kind of stuff
  22. Should do well in shady spot around Sydney area, reasonably low maintenance when established. I killed alot of them by frost.. But yeah, wait for a couple of rainy days and put outside in a sheltered spot and it should take off!
